Meet Anthea
Zeebo Creations was birthed in Tauranga after I moved back to New Zealand, having worked overseas for 10 years. The Business is named after my husband’s special Albanian grandmother, who we loved.
Upon graduating from the School of Fashion in Wellington, where I completed a diploma in Clothing and Textiles in the late 80’s, I moved to Melbourne and worked for The Bridal Palace Boutique in leading the design, construction, fittings and alterations department. It was there I discovered my love of Bridal wear. I then moved to London to advance my career, working under two world-renowned designers including Zandra Rhodes, where I gained unique insights into couture pattern making and construction.
30+ years on, I count it a privilege to create and construct beautiful gowns for gorgeous brides. Based on Auckland’s North Shore, I have contracted to Rue De Seine Bridal in the manufacturing space, and led the alterations department at Jessica Bridal while running Zeebo Creations.
I am open Monday to Saturday by appointment only, and look forward to assisting you with all of your bridal dressmaking requirements.
